We all understand that serious illness can strike at any time. However, our eldery family members are vulnerable and, unfortunately, there are times when medical science cannot offer a cure. In these cases, Star Home is dedicated to making your loved ones as comfortable as possible during the closing stages of their lives.

Most people would prefer to spend the remainder of their lives in the warmth of their own home. Palliative care with Star Home enables loved ones to have their wishes upheld and receive the care they need in familiar surroundings, with close family members and friends visiting whenever they wish. Our service embraces both personal care and emotional support—for the family, as well as for the person being cared for.

Whilst some of our wonderful clients are aware their health is failing and require kind and gentle support, we also recognize that others are too ill to be aware of their situation and need medication and sensitive attention to help ease any pain or distress.

It takes a special individual to provide palliative care and our nurses are some of the most compassionate and welcoming people you will ever meet. Whilst their medical skills and professionalism are second to none, it is their warmth that makes them a great support to those who are ill and their families.
